The idea of this design, in theory and in a photograph, is great! However once you have it in your hand and/or on your wrist you'll find what appears to be two connected pieces of leather like material, instead are two separate pieces, the “base” piece moves freely from the wristband piece. Resulting in the base piece sometimes floating underneath the Apple Watch sensor, unable to read your steps, activity, etc. Wearing this band is less than desired. If the base piece could be removed entirely that would be great. Yet, the design doesn't allow it to come off completely, just move freely and annoyingly.
